Hazel Atlas Apple at Home

It is almost summer, not autumn, but I found a lovely yellow apple.  It is the salad bowl size from the Hazel Atlas Apple Line.  You might remember the pattern from my place a few years ago.
It is already proving its usefulness by keeping my pencil from rolling off of the table.  I don't believe I have shared that draw.  For years folks have been suggesting that I publish embroidery patterns.  Maybe that can be a new Texas adventure.  Until then my apple and I will just keep having fun.

  1. I LOVE your little apple dish. I have some just like it. Also the darker green apple bowl (serving bowl size).

  2. I have some of those - I never thought of them as salad bowls! Am so going to eat fruit salad out of them.

    1. Our family had bowls, that was it, bowls. Who has time for cereal, chili, and salad bowls?

  3. What a great find! There is something so appealing about that color. I went back to your place to see the previous post and I think I know why I'm drawn to it...Harold! We had a parakeet just like him (several, actually) when I was younger.

PS - I initially thought that pink print in the second photo was fabric, and I was drooling over it!

  4. What is rather sad is that Harold did finally escape out that door. :(

The pink print is note cards, and it is a great pattern. You are right, some fabric with it would be lovely. Thanks for stopping by!
